Pre-Recorded Hammered Fringe Earring Class

One of my best selling earring designs are my hammered fringe earrings, made with an open hoop frame with hammered fringes dangling from that frame, and a crystal teardrop dangling in the center. As a jewelry maker of over four years now, I’ve been holding classes teaching those who are interested in wanting to learn from the skills I’ve developed in the hours I have put into my craft! One of the most frequently asked questions I get on my designs are how I make my hammered fringes, and although there is no secret answer to it, I put together a class showing you the process I undergo while making them! Please note that I DO NOT make both earrings during the class, I only made one to completion as I really wanted to take the time to show you how to make one earring as slow and thoroughly as possible. The earrings themselves take me about an hour and a half to make, so it just wouldn’t be enough time to make both earrings start to finish, but if at least one is made, you can rewatch the video and finish the other one by yourself! :)
I explain the entire process of the earringnmaking process as I make them along with you in the video: from what gauge wire I use and why, how much wire you’ll need to center around your teardrop (which will entirely depend on its size), why it’s important to hammer the wire especially when making earrings, and spending some time explaining how I hammer my “paddles” or hammered fringes (this is something I get asked about most often!!) I move much slower in my class recordings than I do in my one minute videos on my social media, as I dedicate the video to emphasizing certain aspects in my wrist techniques, explain my process in creating, and all those minor features that may be overlooked!
The video is about an 1 HR 30 MIN long, and (basically) for the entire creation process I am talking and sharing any and all kinds of advice that might be helpful you to understand how I am doing what I’m doing :)

3. I am not someone who has the complete understanding of wire wrapping. This field is huge, and it would be almost impossible to know everything! If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll be able to see what my expertise and knowledge encompasses, but there are many artists I admire and have no clue what gauges they are using! Before purchasing, I recommend you check out my work and see if it is a style that resonates with you, and then determine if what I teach you here is what you’d like to learn for your own purposes.
