Pre-Recorded Frame Earring Making Class

As a jewelry making of over three years now, I’ve had the pleasure to begin teaching my skills to those who are interested in learning. On Sunday, June 08, I had a live online earring making class where me and my students underwent the step by step each process of the three frames in the photo shown above: moon frames, swirl frames, and clover frames.

I decided to recreate a separate recording of me teaching these designs without the questions or pauses we stopped for in the class, and I show you every point of the earring, guiding you through each hand motion and highlighting each necessary tool and wire needed for each creation.

I highlight the importance of how my wrists bend while creating each design, and sharing with you small tips and techniques that have helped me create my frames to this day. I share with you guys how I hammer each of my frames, where to hammer and where not to, and what the overall purpose of it is. We end of the class wrapping up a bead that connects to our frame, we make our own jump rings, and we make our own earring hooks, all with gauges and proper tools necessary

The video is about an 1 hour and 17 minutes long, and I am guiding you throughout the process of each frame, each step, for all three designs. I included some email feedback I was given based off the class from some of my students, as well as some screenshots of what I show you in class :)

3. I am not someone who has the complete understanding of wire wrapping. This field is huge, and it would be almost impossible to know everything! If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll be able to see what my expertise and knowledge encompasses, but there are many artists I admire and have no clue what gauges they are using! Before purchasing, I recommend you check out my work and see if it is a style that resonates with you, and then determine if what I teach you here is what you’d like to learn for your own purposes!
