Pre-Recorded Flower Earring Making Class

As a jewelry making of over three years now, I’ve had the pleasure to begin teaching my skills to those who are interested in learning. On Sunday, June 22, I had a live online earring making class where me and my students underwent the step by step each process of making an eight petaled flower earring celebrating summer solstice, where I walked them through the importance of each step in careful detail. I highlight the use of specific tools to achieve certain shapes, explaining the difference between making various petals in the flower, and explain how I make the earrings as symmetrical as I can during the process.

I decided to recreate a separate recording of me teaching these designs without the questions or pauses we stopped for in the class, and I show you every point of the earring, guiding you through each hand motion and highlighting each necessary tool and wire needed for each creation.

The video is about an 1 hour and 08 minutes long, and pretty much for the entire earring process I am talking and sharing any and all kinds of advice. I included some email feedback I was given based off the class from some of my students in the photos to see what they had to say about our class experience!

3. I am not someone who has the complete understanding of wire wrapping. This field is huge, and it would be almost impossible to know everything! If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll be able to see what my expertise and knowledge encompasses, but there are many artists I admire and have no clue what gauges they are using! Before purchasing, I recommend you check out my work and see if it is a style that resonates with you, and then determine if what I teach you here is what you’d like to learn for your own purposes!
