DECEMBER 7 FRINGE EARRINGS CLASS

$50.00 Sold Out

[ PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION ]

One of my best selling earring designs are my hammered fringe earrings, made with an open hoop frame with hammered fringes dangling from that frame, and a crystal teardrop dangling in the center. As a jewelry maker of over four years now, I’ve been holding classes teaching those who are interested in wanting to learn from the skills I’ve developed in the hours I have put into my craft! One of the most frequently asked questions I get on my designs are how I make my hammered fringes, and although there is no secret answer to it, I figured a class held on them would show you the process I undergo while making them! Please note that I *MAY NOT* be able to make both earrings during class as I really want to take the time to show you how to make one earring as slow and thorough as possible. The earrings themselves take me about an hour and a half to make, so two hours would probably not be enough time to make both earrings start to finish, but if at least one is made, you can rewatch the video and finish the other one by yourself! :)

I will be explaining the entire process of the earrings making process as I make them along with you in the video: from what gauge wire I use and why, how much wire you’ll need to center around your teardrop (which will entirely depend on its size), why it’s important to hammer the wire especially when making earrings, and spending some time explaining how I hammer my “paddles” or hammered fringes (this is something I get asked about most often!!) This is going to be a space where you can feel free to ask me any questions you may have regarding these earrings or anything at all, as I want this to be a personal learning experience for all of us to connect with our community of wanting to learn and share a common love for crafting :)

I am keeping the space limited to only 10 students to make sure that we have a personal environment for each person to ask questions and talk to each other and me freely! There are no refunds for this reserved spot as that would be unfair to someone who would have wanted to have your spot, and you must be able to join through Zoom as this is an online class!

We will be meeting from 1 PM to 3 PM Central/Chicago time, so *PLEASE* make sure that you are not only able to attend, but you accommodate for your *time zone difference* !! I have had one or two people in EVERY class miss the meeting or join an hour late or early because they incorrectly aligned their time, so please please double check to make sure you have it set accordingly! The class will be fully recorded and sent to you to keep for you to rewatch and play back at your own leisure once it’s over, typically either same day or next day as the video must be processed by my computer first.

Please note a few things:

1. When you purchase this item, you will receive an email from me with the supply list attached as well as the link for the video to meet on that date. This is NOT an automatically sent email, it is me manually sending one, so if you are waiting a little longer, trust that I received your payment and will be sending it ASAP. Please provide a working and correct email address and please CHECK SPAM! If you do not receive anything from me in a few days, please don’t hesitate to follow up and email me because often times my emails end up in junk mail!

2. There are no refunds. Unfortunately there would be no way for me to find a reason to give you your money back as this is not a physical returnable item. If you have issues opening the zoom video or if you have any questions I’d be happy to help, just email me and we can figure it out together.

3. I am not someone who has the complete understanding of wire wrapping. This field is huge, and it would be almost impossible to know everything! If you’re familiar with my work, you’ll be able to see what my expertise and knowledge encompasses, but there are many artists I admire and have no clue what gauges they are using! Before purchasing, I recommend you check out my work and see if it is a style that resonates with you, and then determine if what I teach you here is what you’d like to learn for your own purposes.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to email me with any additional information you’d like about the class :)
